The holidays are underway here in Philadelphia and there’s plenty of things to do to get into the holiday spirit. Certainly, one sure way is to see the beautiful Christmas trees lit up throughout the city. Visit these colorful Christmas tree displays where you can bask in their beauty, snap photos, and create new holiday memories. Tis’ the season!
1. City Hall
The Christmas tree of all Christmas trees! The official tree of Philadelphia is lit and shining brightly in Center City. This gorgeous tree is adorned with a multitude of iridescent lights and ornaments. Its prime location makes it the perfect tree to see this holiday season to partake in plenty of festivities. Be sure to check out the holiday markets located there, as well as ice-skating.

2. South Street Headhouse District
Located on bustling South Street, this gorgeous tree is adorned with eye-catching, oversized red bows and silver snowflakes. Visit this tree while shopping for the perfect holiday gifts at one of the many shops along south street. Be sure to refuel on energy with a delicious bite to eat at one of the many restaurants along the strip including our fave, Rex at the Royal.

3. Manayunk
Indeed Manayunk is the place to be this holiday season. First, from their free holiday train ride to the many shops and eateries, this is a must-stop to see Christmas trees this season. Particularly, you’ll find the gorgeous tree lighting up Main St. with its hues of glue, green, and gold. One of the friendliest neighborhoods in Philly, Manayunk knows how to get lit…literally!

4. Old City
Old City is a wonderful destination to see Christmas trees this season in Philadelphia. Returning for the seventh year, Historic Holidays in Old City is back with shopping, food, warm drinks, and of course its beautiful blue-themed Christmas Tree centerpiece. Basically, now is the perfect time to take a stroll in one of the most historical sections of Philly.

5. Northern Liberties
Of course this lively neighborhood in Philly would be home to one of the season’s best Christmas trees. The multi-color tree is all lit up and shiny brightly. Not only can you bask in the beauty of the Christmas tree, but also enjoy all that Northern Liberties has to offer including the new steakhouse, SIN, that recently opened its door and is serving top-tier vibes.

6. East Passyunk
Head to South Philadelphia and you’ll find the most festive tree. Experience the joy of this stunning tree, adorned with dazzling LED lights, harmonizes with holiday melodies. Also, while there be sure to check out the many local shops and eateries for delicious bites and warm hot chocolate. After all, there’s so many places to explore in this welcoming neighborhood, you’ll certainly want to stay for a while.

7. Christmas Trees Of Pocket Park
Visit the family-friendly neighborhood of Roxborough to see not only one but five beautifully lit Christmas trees. Located in Pocket Park, each tree is festively decorated to match the artistic murals of the park.

Next, make sure to support the local businesses of Roxborough by finding the perfect holiday gifts while stopping for a bite to eat.
