The meaning behind Holi’s colors 🎨
Holi is one of the most joyful celebrations in Hindu tradition. The story of Krishna and Radha inspired the tradition of tossing colored powder, symbolizing love, equality, and playful connection.
Today, the tradition has become a global symbol of community, positivity, and fresh beginnings. It’s a chance for people to come together and celebrate the arrival of spring.
All CultureFest! Holi activities are included with regular Penn Museum admission, making it a lively way to welcome the season in Philadelphia.
If you go, be prepared to leave with a little color and a lot of joy!
