Philadelphia Zoo is inviting guests to channel their inner detective this summer as Zoo Done It? returns for another evening of immersive mystery, interactive storytelling, and plenty of after-hours adventure.
After selling out for the past two years, the popular event returns on Saturday, August 1, 2026, transforming America’s first zoo into the setting of a thrilling 1920s-inspired mystery where guests become part of the story.
Presented in partnership with Without a Cue Productions, Zoo Done It? combines a live-action scavenger hunt with theatrical performances. Participants are challenged to uncover clues, question suspicious characters, and some a mystery before time runs out.
Zoo Done It? takes you back in time to 1926 🕵️♀️

The year’s story transports visitors to 1926, where excitement fills Philadelphia zoo as the world-famous Tasmanian tiger arrives from the London Zoo for a highly anticipated public unveiling.
But moments before the celebration begins, the rare animal suddenly disappears.
Guests must investigate the mysterious theft by exploring the zoo after hours, gathering evidence, interviewing live actors, and piecing together clues hidden throughout the grounds. Whether working alone or with a team, participants will race to identify the culprit before the case goes cold.
Attendees are encouraged to embrace the Roaring Twenties by dressing in their favorite 1920-inspired attire while wearing comfortable shoes for the evening’s scavenger hunt.
