Yurts, twinkling lights and mouthwatering Israeli cuisine, check out what Zahav has in store for this festive season.
Yet another amazing outdoor dining option has popped up in Philly! Zahav has set up an enchanting yurt village perfect for outdoor dining during the winter.
The modern Israeli restaurant is the only Philly establishment taking part of American Express nation-wide Yurt Village experience featuring top-notch restaurants from all across the country. As part of the special experience, you’ll be able to enjoy some top-notch Israeli fare inside one of Zahav’s charming, heated yurts.
Zahav’s special yurt menu includes a 5-course meal ($190/ person) featuring some of their all-star dishes. These include their Turkish hummus with laffa, their sweet potatoes with French onion labneh and caviar, their chicken Pargiyot with Amba and green matbucha, their Chraime, a North African tomato-pepper fish stew, and for dessert their Turkish coffee mousse.
The restaurant has set up its yurts out in their covered patio and each can seat between 2 an 4 guests (of the same household) and are available for dining all week long. Safety measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus and guests can enjoy limiting the yurt experience to 2 hours per party and making masks mandatory at all times except when seated inside the yurt.
Zahav’s yurt village is open for outdoor dining Tuesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and requires prior reservations which can be done through the restaurant’s website.
