Philly is getting a little taste of la dolce vita this week, and you won’t need a passport —or a plane ticket— to experience it.
Peroni is bringing its Peroni Portals pop-up experience to three Philadelphia locations Aug. 13-15, transforming local spots into temporary windows into Italian summer culture.
Inspired by Italy’s iconic wine windows, the pop-ups will serve complimentary Peroni Nastro Azzurro through portal-inspired windows, giving locals a chance to grab a cold beer and settle into an Italian-style aperitivo moment with friends.
What exactly is a Peroni Portal? 🪟
The traveling activation puts a modern spin on Italy’s traditional wine windows, which have become a beloved part of the country’s food and drink culture.
Peroni says its Portals are designed to bring that experience stateside, creating a casual gathering spot where guests can enjoy an ice-cold beer and a little taste of Italian summer.
The experience debuted in New York City before hitting the road for pop-ups in select cities throughout August.
Where can you find the Peroni Portals in Philly? 🔍
You’ll have three chances to stop by a Portal this week:
- 🍻 August 13: Pizzata Passyunk, 240 S. 22nd St. —5-8 p.m.
- 🍻 August 14: Mia Ragazza, 4411 Main St. — 4-7 p.m.
- 🍻 August 15: Di Bruno Bros. 9th St. —1-4 p.m.
The pop-ups are free to attend. However, complimentary Peroni samples are available to guests 21 and older while supplies last.

The experience itself is free, making it an easy addition to a summer day in the city.
There are no tickets required for the Philadelphia pop-ups, so you can simply stop by during the designated hours. Just keep in mind that the free Peroni Nastro Azzurro samples are limited and available while supplies last.
