Adventure Aquarium is giving adults another reason to visit after dark this fall. The Camden aquarium is bringing back Harvest with the Hippos on Friday, October 2, as part of its ongoing Sips Underseas series of themed 21+ nights.
From 5 to 9 p.m., guests can explore the aquarium after hours while enjoying the sights and seasonal atmosphere of Fintastic Pumpkin Glow, its annual fall festival filled with glowing pumpkins displayed throughout the aquarium, including underwater.
And yes, the hippos are part of the evening.
Meet the hippos during their fall feast
Adventure Aquarium is the only aquarium in the world home to hippos, making Genny and Button two of the stars of the nights. During Harvest with the Hippos, guests will get special access to watch the Nile hippos receive their own fall-themed treats throughout the evening.
Along with the hippo encounters, admission includes access to everything happening during Fintastic Pumpkin Glow, giving guests a chance to see the aquarium’s collection illuminated by hundreds of glowing gourds in an after-hours setting.
Make it a date night
For those looking to turn the evening into a night out, Harvest with the Hippos also offers an Ultimate Date Night Package.
The package includes after-hours admission for two, two drinks, and two commemorative photos. It’s the perfect option for couples looking for a unique date night.
How much are tickets?
Tickets are priced at $44.99 per person, while the Ultimate Date Night Package tickets are $125. Tickets are available online.
The event is part of Adventure Aquarium’s expanding Sips Underseas series, with additional seasonal and themed 21+ nights planned into next year.
Harvest with the Hippos takes Friday, October 2, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Adventure Aquarium in Camden. Guests must be 21 or older to attend.
