1. Where To See Outdoor Movies: Sunset Social
This lush West Philly location offers free outdoor movie screenings Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the summer. See screenings such as Barbie, Cars, Back To The Future, and more on a 60-inch giant screen and 12 stories above high. Nestled atop of Cira Green, Sunset Social is an urban park offering a place of respite to relax and enjoy the summer breeze all while having light bites or a refreshing cocktail. 2.Outdoor Movies On The Schuylkill Bank
Thursday nights during summer watch some of your favorite movies along the Schuylkill Bank. These free outdoor movie screenings will begin at sunset on Thursday evenings at two locations along the bank. Specifically, movies are shown either at the Grays Ferry Crescent Esplanade or the grassy area just north of the Walnut Street Bridge. Bring your favorite blanket or lawn chair and watch films such as “50 First Dates” and “Barbie” under the stars. Expect movies to begin around 8:00-8:30pm depending on the month. 3. Clark Park
West Philadelphia’s legendary Clark Park doubles as an outdoor movie hub this summer with free screenings for the entire family. 4. Movies In The Park From Fairmount Park Conservancy
Presented by Park Friends Groups in partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation and Fairmount Park Conservancy, this summer enjoy over 35 popular movies at various parks throughout Philadelphia. From Southwest Philadelphia to Northeast Philly to Germantown, Philadelphia parks will transform into an outdoor movie hub for all.
