As Philadelphia prepares to welcome the world for the 2026 World Cup, one South Philly neighborhood is planning to celebrate in a big way.
The East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District (EPABID) has announced a series of three World Cup-themed block parties happening this summer. Located just minutes from the stadium district, East Passyunk Avenue is expected to become a lively gathering place. It’s perfect for soccer fans, locals, and visitors looking to soak up the excitement surrounding the international tournament.
The events are set to transform sections of the avenue into massive outdoor celebrations. Expect participation from local businesses as well as neighborhood activations. Food and drink specials will also be available. And, of course, they’ll be plenty of places to catch the action of match days.
Three World Cup celebrations are coming to East Passyunk 🎉

The first block party will take place on Friday, June 19, from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on the 1700 block of East Passyunk Avenue. Participating businesses include Pizzata Birreria, Philly Typewriter, Primitive Boutique, August Moon Boutique, and several others.
The festivities continue on Saturday, June 27, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the 1500 block between Tasker and Dickerson Streets. Visitors can expect participation from neighborhood favorites including Ember & Ash, Pub on Passyunk East, Triangle Tavern, Supérette, and Urban Jungle.
The final celebration will be held on Friday, July 3, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on the 1300 block of East Passyunk Avenue. Expect businesses such as Cartesian Brewing, Red Gravy Goods, and Triangle Tavern joining the festivities.
