Philadelphia may be in the middle of summer, but the holiday spirit is arriving early as the Under the El Bazaar returns with a special Christmas in July celebration this weekend.
Taking place on Saturday, July 18, from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the free, family-friendly event will transform the 1700 block of North Front Street beneath the Market-Frankford El into a festive outdoor marketplace filled with local vendors, food, drinks, live music, games, and seasonal surprises.
Hosted by the Fishtown District, the monthly bazaar has become one of the neighborhood’s signature community events, bringing together local makers, artists, vintage vendors, restaurants, and small businesses in an open-air setting that’s also dog-friendly.
