The Frankford Day & Night Market is returning for its sixth year with a weekend dedicated to celebrating the people, businesses, and organizations that continue to shape one of Philadelphia’s most historic neighborhoods.
Hosted by PowerCircle Mentors, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit youth mentoring organization, this year’s event embraces the them “Diamonds in the Rough,” highlighting the resilience, creativity, and untapped potential found throughout the Frankford community.
PowerCircle Mentors works year-round to empower young people through mentorship, leadership development, job readiness, environmental initiatives, and community engagement. The annual market has become one of its signature events, bringing together residents, entrepreneurs, artists, and local organizations while strengthening relationships across generations.
What’s happening at the Frankford Day & Night Market? 🛍️
Visitors can enjoy a full afternoon and evening of family-friendly entertainment, food, shopping, and community activities. The festivities begin with a Community Clean-Up Day on Friday, July 24th. Volunteers will help beautify Frankford through litter removal, sidewalk sweeping, tree trimming, graffiti removal, and mural touch-ups.
The main celebration takes place Saturday, July 25, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Frankford Charges Field. The longtime youth sports organization has partnered with PowerCircle Mentors by providing the venue, further supporting neighborhood development and youth programming.
Visitors can expect food trucks, artisan vendors, family-friendly activities, community resource tables, live DJs, music, and Unity Basketball Games showcasing teamwork and sportsmanship.
A growing tradition with lasting impact 👏🏻

Since launching in 2021, the Frankford Day & Night Market has experienced significant growth. Vendor participation has doubled, attendance has expanded from roughly 1,000 to more than 3,000 visitors. Additionally, the number of food trucks has increased substantially, reflecting growing community support.
Businesses and organizations can also become sponsors through multiple partnership levels, helping expand youth programming while gaining visibility during one of Frankford’s largest annual community celebrations.
More than just a festival, the Frankford Day & Night Market continues to demonstrate how investing in youth and the neighborhood can create lasting community impact.
