NBA legend and beloved Philadelphia icon Charles Barkley is returning to his roots with an all-new venture: a high-end steakhouse and cigar lounge set to open at Valley Forge Casino Resort, part of Boyd Gaming Corporation. The announcement marks an exciting collaboration between Barkley and the resort as it continues its multi-year transformation.

Barkley’s new concept will blend modern sophistication with personal touches that nod to his storied basketball career.
Guests can expect a menu curated with Barkley’s input, premium cuts, and elevated comfort dishes designed for sharing.
Next door, The Humidor cigar lounge will offer a luxurious, club-like atmosphere featuring a walk-in humidor, private lockers, and a sleek bar—creating the perfect space for unwinding in style.

Sir Charles is coming back to Philly
Known as one of the greatest players in NBA history, Barkley first rose to fame as a power forward for the Philadelphia 76ers from 1984 to 1992.
And now he’s coming back to where it all started:
“The Philadelphia area has always felt like home to me, and I’m thrilled to bring something new to a community that’s played such a big part in my life,” said Charles Barkley.

Moreover, the space will also showcase Barkley’s personal memorabilia, celebrating his unmatched charisma and deep connection to the city that shaped him.
Redmont Distilling and the Valley Forge Casino’s Transformation
Additionally, the new steakhouse will feature Barkley’s own Redmont Distilling Co. spirits, now part of a nationwide partnership with Boyd Gaming.
The company will also contribute annually to The Charles Barkley Foundation, supporting education and HBCUs.
This opening marks another milestone in Valley Forge Casino Resort’s ongoing upgrades.
