Vintage hunters, antique lover, and anyone who enjoys browsing for one-of-a-kind home finds will have a new fall shopping destination to check out this October. The Great Junk Hunt is making its Philadelphia-area debut in Oaks on Friday, October 23, and Saturday, and October 24, bringing vendors from across the country to the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center.
A traveling vintage market is coming to Oaks
The traveling market will fill the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center with vendors offering vintage furniture, antiques, home decor, handmade goods, repurposed pieces, midcentury modern finds and other unique treasures. Food, drinks, and a lively shopping atmosphere will also be part of the weekend, giving shoppers plenty to explore beyond the vendor booths.
The Great Junk Hunt was created by Linda Albers of the Funky Junk Sisters and travels to markets around the county, bringing together curated vendors and shoppers looking for pieces with a little more character than what you’ll find in a typical shopping center.

Just a short drive from Philadelphia
The event takes place at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, making it an easy outing for Philly shoppers. Oaks is roughly 25 miles from Philadelphia by road, with the drive taking around 35 minutes under typical conditions.
Friday’s market suns from 4 to 9 p.m, while Saturday runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
