The beloved summer tradition is back. Center City District Sips will return to Philadelphia beginning Wednesday, June 3, running every Wednesday through August 26.
From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. each week, dozens of bars and restaurants across Center City will offer drink specials and a lively after-work atmosphere designed to bring people together. Whether you’re catching up with coworkers or meeting friends, CCD Sips continues to serve as a midweek reset during the summer months.
Since launching in 2004, the program has become a staple of Philadelphia summers, driving foot traffic to local businesses while giving residents a reason to linger a little longer downtown.
“For more than two decades, CCD Sips has been woven into Center City’s summer rhythm — a weekly invitation to stay after work, explore a new bar or restaurant, and make the kinds of connections that only happen when you stay a little longer,” Center City District President & CEO Prema Katari Gupta said.
Preview event at Dilworth Park 🥂
The official kickoff begins early with a preview event at Dilworth Park on Wednesday, May 27 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Hosted by The Patio, the newly expanded outdoor bar and restaurant. The even is free for guests 21+.
Expect live DJ entertainment along with drink specials including $8 Hornitos® Tequila cocktails, $7 Kim Crawford wine, $6 Truly Hard Seltzers and Sam Adams beer, plus mocktails and discounted bites. The Patio will continue participating every Wednesday throughout the season.
