Philadelphia fans of the beloved game show are in for a treat: for the the first time since 2015, “Wheel of Fortune” is returning to the City of Brotherly Love to scout contestants. The auditions will take place at the Event Center in Rivers Casino Philadelphia, 1001 N. Delaware Ave., on Thursday, Sept. 18, and Friday, Sept. 19, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with participants welcome to line up as early a 10 a.m.
Executive Producer Bellamie Blackstone share the exciting news, saying:
The ‘Wheel of Fortune’ fan base in and around Philadelphia is incredible, and we’re excited to tap into that passion to find future contestants. We hope the fans bring some of that famous Philly spirit to the event so we can welcome those loyal ‘Wheel’ watchers in our studio to spin the wheel!”
🎡 How to audition for ‘Wheel of Fortune’
The free audition process is open to anyone 21 or older. Participants will meet producers for a 30-second personal introduction– so it’s essential to shine in that half-minute.
The show’s website recommends sharing your jobs, passions, hobbies, or interesting fun facts rather than explaining you love for the show (they already know!).
Authenticity, energy, and a smile go a long way.
Auditions will be conducted in small groups of 5-10, and producers will contact select individuals later for the next stage in the casting process.
