The Head & The Hand Books in Kensignton is renting out their space for a totally romantic night and it might be one of the coolest Philly date ideas we’ve come across — especially if you’re a literature lover!
The charming bookstore is renting out its space to love birds for 90-minute dates, so you can spend some quality time with your date surrounded by books and candlelight.
The place is perfect for cozying up with your date while sipping on wine, listening to music, which is specially curated for you, and discussing your latest reads or, well, you know anything you’d like… But the store does provide the perfect setting for a thrilling yet intimate literature discussion!
The shop also offers a %15 discount on their books and allows guests to bring their own food for the ultimate literature-themed dinner date.
The Head & The Hand Books, which open about two years ago on Coral street, started the special to help keep its doors open. During the day, the Kensington shop focuses on providing “curated fiction, local lit, and children’s/middle grade books to the neighborhood and beyond” — Totally worth checking out for some unique reads too!
Date night at The Head & Hand Books requires a $65 fee and includes the wine and the music and bookings are selling by fast. So if you’re looking to take your partner on a totally original, local date make sure to head on over to their website and book your spot ASAP!
