It’s that time of the year again! Flavors on the Avenue festival returns to East Passyunk Sunday April 28th, 2024 and is bigger than ever before! Dozens of the city’s top restaurants, bars and cafes will serve signature dishes and street food delights under the blue skies during this all day, all ages celebration.
Flavors On The Avenue
Indeed, the countdown is on! Now in its 18th year, East Passyunk Avenue Business Improvement District presents Flavors on the Avenue. This family-friendly festival takes place on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 11:00am to 5:00pm.
One of the city’s largest and longest-running food festivals, Flavors on the Avenue is not your average block party. Neighbors, visitors, foodies and music lovers will come together for an all day, all ages celebration with five blocks of street food, seasonal sips, craft beer, live music and sidewalk sales.
Over two dozen of Philadelphia’s top restaurants, cafes and bars will be participating, including Barcelona Wine Bar, Bing Bing Dim Sum, Cantina Los Caballitos, Le Virtu, Ember & Ash, Flannel, Milk Jawn, Noir, Ocho Rios Parrilla, Pistolas Del Sur, Pizzata Pizzeria and Birreria, P’UNK burger, Stogie Joes, Townsend, Vanilya Bakery and more.
Over 100 vendors will line the Avenue, including 80+ artists and makers curated by Nice Things Handmade. Family fun will include balloons, bounce house, arts and crafts, games and more.
Fun For All Ages
“Flavors on the Avenue started back in 2007 and has grown to become one of the most popular outdoor food festivals in Philadelphia,” said EPABID Board President Michelle Gillen-Doobrajh in an official press release. She is also the owner of Tildie’s Toy Box and Tiny Tildie’s.
“Flavors is the Avenue’s invitation for people from across the region to share our love of food. It is a time to come together and celebrate the top chefs and restaurants that make East Passyunk one of the top food destinations in America. It is also the chance to explore our fast growing retail scene, while supporting local small businesses. Don’t miss this fun celebration happening Sunday April 28th, 2024. The festival will begin at 11:00am to 5:00pm. Moreover, the festivities will run along East Passyunk, from Broad to Dicknson streets. The event is open to all ages. Lastly, food and drink is pay-as-you-go.
