After months of buzz and anticipation, PopUp Bagels is finally opened its first Philadelphia-area location this week.
The viral bagel brand officially debuted its Ardmore shop on March 20, bringing its cult-favorite hot bagels and signature “Grip, Rip and Dip®” experiences to the Main Line.
Located just outside of Philly in Suburban Square, the opening marked a major milestone for the brand’s regional expansion. The Ardmore storefront is the first of 10 planned locations across the Philadelphia, South Jersey, and Delaware area, meaning bagel lovers can expect to see a lot more of the brand soon.
Opening day festivities will take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., giving early visitors a chance to check out the new space, meet the team, and most importantly —try the bagels fresh out the oven.
Founded by Adam Goldberg, the brand has built a massive following for its refreshingly simple approach to bagels. Instead of sandwiches or elaborate builds, PopUp Bagels serves bagels hot, whole, and unsliced, encouraging customers to tear them apart and dip them into flavorful schemers.
🥯 What to expect on opening day:
- 🔥 Hot bagels served straight from the oven
- 🧀 Rotating schmear flavors
- 🌶️ A special opening-day flavor: the “Long Hot Schmear,” inspired by Philly’s iconic hoagie topping!
Since launching in Connecticut in 2021, PopUp Bagels has quickly grown into one of the most talked-about bagel brands in the country…and now, the Philadelphia area will finally get a taste.
For bagel fans who’ve been waiting, the moment has officially arrived.
