The City of Brotherly Love…not?
Researchers conducted a survey that focused on six key metrics:
- the population of single people
- the likelihood of marriage
- the annual divorce rate
- the rate of individuals actively searching for a relationship
- quality of life
- cost of living
Specifically, the study focused on 20 major cities across the United States.
Based on statistical data across the six metrics, researchers concluded that Philadelphia is in fact the 3rd worst city in America for dating.
While Philly does have a high number of singles, it garnered lackluster ratings in quality of life, interest in dating, and likelihood of marriage.
According to the study, the best cities in the U.S. for dating are apparently Seattle, Denver, Dallas, Indianapolis and Austin.
Earlier this year, Philly was also sited as the biggest metropolitan city with the most unmarried, single folks.
