Wander through an enchanting village covered in millions of magical holiday lights at Pedler’s Village!
Pedler’s Village’s holly jolly light display is officially open for business! Holidays in the Village has returned for yet another merry and bright season full of magical lights, gingerbread houses, holiday shopping and even socially-distant visits to Santa!
One of the most popular events of the festive season, Holidays in the Village opened on Thursday, November 19, and will be in town through January 10, 2021, for two months of merry celebrations.
While there be no Grand Lighting ceremony happening this year, the Bucks County enclave has plenty of jolly treats in store for visitors. Holiday lights will be shining on from November 19 and Santa himself will be making surprise appearances throughout out the village during the weekends on November 21 – 22, November 28 – 29 and December 4 – 5.
The Village’s Annual Gingerbread House Competition and Display will also be opening on November 19 through to January 9, 2021. This year, to allow for one-way socially distanced traffic flow, the competition will be moving from its usual location at the Gazebo to Shop #1 in the Courtyard.
There will of course be plenty of holiday shopping as usual, with local vendors selling everything from candy and toys to clothes and artisanal candles. For those wishing to support their local businesses, Pedler’s Village has also introduced the Virtual Village where you’ll find all that’s available in-store.
Also opening new this year is Holidays in the Village’s Elf on the Stealth mystery walking tour. This socially-distant, outdoors adventure will guide you and your family in an attempt to find the Elf on the Shelf who’s gotten lost in the North Pole! But don’t worry, you’ll have Mrs. Claus to help guide you through this unique mystery walking tour.
In addition to all this holiday fun, two Peddler’s Village restaurants will be offering special menus on Thanksgiving Day. Cock ‘n Bull is presenting a safely served buffet from 11 am to 6 pm, and Earl’s New American will be adding Thanksgiving specials to its regular menu. If you wish to attend any of the restaurants make sure to make your reservations ahead of time!
Of course, Peddler’s Village has also implemented a series of new safety regulations like mask-wearing, social distancing and hand sanitizing among others to ensure the visitors’ security.
Holidays in the Village will be open for special holiday hours starting on Friday, November 27, through Sunday, January 3, 2021. The village will open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
