After six months of redefining Philadelphia’s fine dining scene, Ocho Supper Club is preparing to close its acclaimed residency at The Rittenhouse Hotel with one final celebration.
On Sunday, July 26, Chef RJ Smith will host Ocho x Ocho: The Spirit of Ocho, an exclusive, limited-seating dinner created in partnership with Tequila Ocho. The one-night experience will feature a thoughtfully curated four-course menu, with each dish paired alongside a different Tequila Ocho expression.
Throughout the evening, guests will also hear the stories behind each pairing, offering a deeper look into the inspiration that has shaped both the menu and the spirits.

The finale marks another milestone for Smith, who recently graduated from Drexel University—the same school where Ocho Supper Club first began as a passion project in a dorm room before growing into one of Philadelphia’s most talked-about dining experiences.
Guests who visit before the residency concludes can still enjoy Smith’s current Afro-Caribbean-inspired tasting menu, which showcase dishes including Escovitch Mussels, Kanpachi, Pennsylvania Lamb Saddle, and Vanilla Rhubarb Tart.
The beverage program has also expanded with a trio of signature cocktails. Highlights include the tropical Bayside, the floral Murder She Wrote, and 24K, a savory mezcal-forward cocktail designed to complement the restaurant’s bold flavors.
Whether you’ve followed Ocho Supper Club since its earliest days days or are discovering it for the first time, the residency’s closing celebration offers a fitting sendoff to a concept that has evolved from a Drexel dorm room into one of Philadelphia’s most exciting culinary destinations.
Reservations for Ocho x Ocho: The Spirit of Ocho are limited, making this one-night event one of the final opportunities to experience Chef RJ Smith’s celebrated residency at The Rittenhouse Hotel.
