An Egyptian celebration is coming to the Philadelphia suburbs this fall, bringing tow days of food and culture to Conshohocken. The Egyptian Fall Festival returns Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4, with this year’s theme, “Flavors of the Nile — Where Culture Meets Cuisine.”
Hosted at St. Mary & St. Mercurius Coptic Orthodox Church, the free festival will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. both days. It’s designed to welcome both members of the Egyptian and Coptic community and anyone interested in experiencing Egyptian culture for the first time.
Taste the flavors of the Nile

Indeed, food is at the center of the celebration. Attendees will enjoy homemade Egyptian and Middle Eastern dishes, desserts, pastries, and other specialties.
Visitors can also browse an Egyptian bazaar featuring gifts, souvenirs and crafts, alongside local vendors selling handmade goods, jewelry, beauty products, home décor, and other items.
Things to do at the Egyptian Fall Festival
There’s plenty planned beyond the food, including:
- Try homemade Egyptian and Middle Eastern food and desserts
- Shop the Egyptian bazaar and local vendor marketplace
- Enjoy music and entertainment throughout the weekend
- Visit the Kids Corner for pumpkin painting and face painting
- Play at the bubble station and make a custom squishy
- Let kids burn off energy at the bounce houses
- Grab cotton candy
- Take a turn at the dunk tank
