When we think of fairy tales or childhood nostalgia, Disney is sure to sit atop the hierarchy, happily wearing the crown (or should we say: magical mouse ears)! The Wonderful World of Walt Disney turns 100 this year and to celebrate all of its grandeur and magnificence, an exclusive exhibit is opening this month at The Franklin Institute.
Fans of the beloved Disney franchise will now have the opportunity to step inside an immersive experience at Disney100: The Exhibition, taking visitors on a journey through 100 years of timeless memories and tales. This includes classics such as Snow White and the Seven Dwarves to modern gems such as Strange World.
What to expect at the Disney100: Exhibition
The world premiere exhibit will include ten magnificent and imaginative galleries with themes featuring moving stories, exciting background information, as well as interactive installations.
Even more exciting, for this exhibition, Disney has specifically curated special behind-the-scenes glimpses into the magic of its creations including stories, shows, beloved characters and attractions. Visitors will be able to step inside the world of Pixar, Star Wars, Marvel, and National Geographic.
As if it couldn’t get any better than that, The Walt Disney archives is opening its vault of treasures including original artwork, rarely seen costumes, timeless props and artifacts, and over 250 of Disney’s “Crowned Jewels.”
