It’s that exciting time of the year where Dilworth Plaza is once again transformed! The Philadelphia Marketplace is returning to Dilworth Plaza.
It will once again return to Dilworth Park every Friday and Saturday, from Friday, September 6, 2024 through Saturday, October 5, 2024.
The Marketplace At Dilworth Plaza
In cooperation with the Center City District, the Philadelphia Marketplace is a weekly, outdoor pop-up market. It showcases a wide range of local merchants, craftsmen, designers and small businesses from Philadelphia and the greater tri-state area.
Nestled amid Dilworth Park, this weekend event invites visitors to immerse themselves in a vibrant setting.
Each weekend offers a unique opportunity to explore a diverse array of distinctive arts and crafts with everything from handmade stuffed pals, modern artwork, and more.
Shop candles and soaps, fragrances, clothing, coffee, and handmade jewelry.
You’ll find body butters, exfoliants, hand sanitizers, lifestyle essentials, home goods, watches and more.
Notably, vendors will rotate throughout the month. Some vendors being there every weekend, and others making a special appearance on select weekends.
“The Philadelphia Marketplace at Dilworth Park is an annual tradition and the second half of our event kicks off at the end of summer and early fall season in Philadelphia,” said Project Manager Ronja Baumann in an official press release.
“Everyone is back from the shore and back to the office in Center City, and we can’t wait to introduce a great artisan line-up for this September, with something for everyone. There will be gifts, household goods, art, jewelry and more – including some fun things for kids. This is the first of our three big markets between now and the end of the year – and we can’t wait to see everyone out there shopping.”
Support Artisans, Makers, & Small Business
With over 20 confirmed vendors, you’ll be sure to find essentials and gifts to love. Specifically, it is a great way to show your support to the artisans, makers, and small business owners right here in our community.
“My favorite thing about this event is that it is a regularly weekly showcase of local vendors from the Philadelphia region – it’s a truly amazing way to support local businesses, support small businesses, and find something special for yourself at the same time. It is truly a win-win,” said Project Manager Ronja Baumann in a press release.
