The holiday season may be over, but there’s still plenty to enjoy at Dilworth Park!
All kinds of wonderful, wintery activities are taking place at Dilworth Park– So dust off your winter hats and mittens and mosey on over to the park for a whole load of fun before they close for the season!
Twinkling lights, giant green reindeer and mulled wine? Yes, please! The magical Wintergarden on Greenfield Lawn. This whimsical garden is covered with giant reindeer topiaries, twinkling lights and rustic décor that make for totally awesome photo ops!
Entrance to the garden is completely free and if you’re 21 or older you can also get a hot cup of mulled wine over at the Chaddsford Winery kiosk to keep you warm and cozy while taking a stroll through the garden. The Wintergarden is open daily from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Meanwhile, the Rothman Orthopedics Cabin is coming back for you to get your fill of hearty holiday-inspired bites and drinks. This year, the cabin features a brand new outdoor space with warm heat lamps, twinkling lights and winter foliage for your enjoyment and that of your Instagram followers.
Along with their food guests will be able to enjoy a slew of seasonal cocktails made with Maker’s Mark Bourbon and Haku Japanese Vodka, plus beer from Stella Artois and, of course, the local winter favorite Tröegs Blizzard of Hops. The cabin will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
Last but not least there’s the Rothman Orthopedics Ice Rink! To ensure guests’ safety and control the rink capacity for skaters, the ice rink has implemented a new online reservation system where guests can book their 90-minute skating sessions.
Of course, all three attractions are opening with new safety measures in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus. Masks will be required at all times as well as the conventional safety distance between visitors. Dilworth Park’s winter wonderland opened on Friday, November 6, at 12:30 p.m. and will be closing on Sunday, February 28, 2021.
