5 Delicious & Local Crab Houses To Try In Philly

Enjoy boiled, streamed, or fried crab this end of summer at these local crab houses!

Crabs are always best enjoyed during the summertime, and fall is right around the corner. So have a drab dinner at one of the five places below before it gets too cold. Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty and crack open these local crabs at these fun and good ambiance restaurants around Philly.

1. The Original Crab Shack

Looking to feast on crabs with the whole family or with a big group of friends? This is the place for you! They serve different kinds of platters that come with selected entrees and a choice of three sides. With the steamed platters, you choose which kind of crab you’d like, with the fried platters you can choose between scallop, oyster, butterfly shrimp, fish, or mix and match. The pick-a-platter is a new menu item where you choose a platter option, then how many entrees and sides you’d like to pair it with. Overall, this is the perfect place to go if you’re in a big group who love crab and seafood!
