Philly’s Popular Bok Bar Rooftop Is now open!

Bok Bar’s gorgeous rooftop is back for its longest season yet!

And it sounds like it’ll be a total blast! South Philly’s popular Bok Bar rooftop recently reopened its doors for its 6th season on Wednesday, April 14. According to a recent IG post, the bar is be back for an awesome season with over 100 events and pop-ups by “some of Philly’s most unique voices.”

Unlike previous seasons, Bok Bar won’t be back just as a gorgeous rooftop space in which to eat and drink. This time around, the rooftop is making the season one of experience focused on four major activation pillars: “TASTE, MAKE, SPARK and MOVE.”

Spanning 30 weeks, the rooftop’s longest run yet, Bok Bar features a calendar packed full of events and plenty to explore. So far, some of the food options  include pop-ups by Musi Philly, Kalaya, Porcos Porchetteria, Mission Taquería and Saté Kampar.

Performers  include Snacktime, Osagie, and monthly drag brunches from the Drag Mafia, while fitness events will feature workshops by Spirits Up! and OMMYoga.

The season will also feature panels and conversations from Dr. Hava Rose, GLBL VLLG, Danni Hearts and Girls with Grit.Maker events will also feature workshops  by DNA Floral, Stover Ceramics and Lauren Rider, Studio Incamminati, and many, many more which are yet to be announced!

The packed schedule is set to bring Philadelphian’s a season full of incredible experiences and opportunities to support the local community. Bok Bar’s new approach for the season comes as part of a continued focus to support others by “providing a living wage to our staff and partnering with those who are uniquely focused on inclusivity.”

This year, Bok Bar will operate with reservations only and tickets can be booked online through their website to all and any of the events that are taking place in the rooftop this season.

Bok Bar is open from Wednesday through Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.
