With Super Bowl LIX right around the corner, Philly fans are getting hyped for the big game–and sometimes in very… how should we say…creative ways!
According to a report from NBC 10 Philadelphia,
“Since Feb. 4, 2025, representatives of the marketing communications agency Aloysius Butler & Clark say, the company has had a billboard set up along I-435 outside Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City that reads ‘816-323-GOKC—call for a pep rally in your pocket.’”
But when Chiefs fans call that number, it isn’t exactly a pep rally in their pocket–or, at least not one they wanna hear!
When Chiefs fans call the number, their ears are ~blessed~ with the Eagles fight song: “Fly Eagles Fly!”
According to NBC 10, hundreds of people called in the first 24 hours, making this a successful prank in honor of the Philadelphia Eagles!
And it was for a good cause, too!
Aloysius Butler & Clark didn’t just prank Chiefs fans, though. They’re doing it for a good cause (and we don’t mean just for a good laugh!). For every phone call to the number posted on the billboard, the marketing company pledges to make donations to both the Eagles Autism Foundation and to Kansas City’s Hunt Family Foundation.
We love a harmless troll moment, especially one with a good cause behind it!
This weekend we’ll watch the Eagles and the Chiefs face off, and then we’ll know for sure who gets to have the last laugh!
