Philadelphia’s waterfront is gearing up for summer as Spruce Street Harbor Park and Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Summerfest return on May 22 for Memorial Day Weekend.
Known as one of the city’s go-to warm-weather destinations, the park is back for its 13th season with a mix of returning favorites and exciting new experiences designed to bring visitors closer to the water than ever before.
What’s new at Spruce Street Harbor Park this summer ⛴️
The biggest draw this year is what’s new. For the first time, guest can take part in unique on-the-water activities, including Chiliboats, which let you pedal across the river, and upgraded swan boats that now offer nighttime glow rides under the stars.
A new floating double-decker barge will also give visitors a fresh wya to enjoy skyline views while relaxing with a drink.
Despite the additions, the park is keeping the elements people love, including:
