Spruce Street Harbor Park Is Philly’s Remarkable Urban Beach

Visit Philly’s remarkable outdoor urban beach!

This awesome seasonal park located on the waterfront of the Delaware River offers a free relaxing spot to enjoy the summer weather. With fun light installations, local delicious food and drinks, cool places to enjoy the beautiful weather, this urban park has it all!

There are free colorful hammocks available on a first-come-first-serve basis that are safely spaced out and sanitized often. You will be able to rent a riverside lounge area with hammocks and Barge Oasis providing a comfortable space for your group for up to 90 minutes.

Accessible day and night, this park will be open all summer until early fall. When the sun does down, the park will glow with the numerous technicolor light installations around the area.

This year, the park is bringing it back to the cities roots by focusing on Philly-centric food. They will be serving Philadelphians’ favorite food; such as water ice and pretzels, Crabfries, funnel cakes, ice cream, French Toast Bites, and more! Refresh yourself by visiting the beer garden and savoring local brews or summer cocktails, that are also served on the boardwalk.

Even as Philly’s COVID restrictions are losing, visiting Spruce Street Park is a safe outdoor activity to enjoy the sun and the company of friends and family.
