Philadelphia’s favorite summer food celebration is making a return, and this year’s Old City Eats block party is expanding beyond its usual footprint.
Hosted by Old City District, the annual event returns on Thursday, June 4, brining a night of food, drinks, and live neighborhood energy to the heart of Old City.
Old City Eats expands in 2026 🍽️
For the first time, the event will stretch beyond 2nd Street and include the 100 block of Chestnut Street, giving visitors even more restaurants and outdoor dining to explore.
The expanded footprint highlights the neighborhood’s growing culinary scene, with participating spot serving everything from Cuban cuisine and Irish pub favorites to Peruvian dishes and French-inspired fare.
Returning favorites include:
- Cuba Libre Restaurant a& Rum Bar
- Royal Boucherie
- Khyber Pass Pub
- The Plough & the Stars
- Han Dynasty
New participants this year include Almanac and Buena Vista Mexican Restaurant.
Cocktails, swag, and summer vibes 🍹
Guests 21 and older can also enjoy specialty cocktails featuring brands from Bacardi USA, including PatrĂłn. Cocktail purchases will earn tokens that can be redeemed for exclusive prizes and swag throughout the evening.
Unlike traditional food festivals, Old City Eats remains free to attend, with food and rinks available on a pay-as-you-go basis.
