Philadelphia is preparing for one of the biggest Fourth of July celebrations in the city’s history as officials unveiled the lineup for One Philly: Unity Concert For America, a massive free concert taking over the Benjamin Franklin Parkway on Saturday, July 4, 2026.
The six-hour event will celebration America’s 250th anniversary and Philadelphia’s legacy as the birthplace of the nation with performances from Christina Aguilera, Jill Scott, The Roots, Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff, Kathy Sledge, State Property, Seal, Infinity Song, and more special guests.
Hosted by Wanda Sykes, the concert will also feature appearances from Gillie Da King and Wallo267 alongside additional performances and celebrity guests still to be announced.
A historic concert honoring America’s 250th anniversary
Organizers say the event is expected to become the largest free concert in America, bringing together music fans from across the country for a multi-generational celebration of music, culture, democracy, and community.
“As the birthplace of America democracy, Philadelphia serves as the ideal location to commemorate the nation’s 250th anniversary,” organizers said in a statement announcing the event.
Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle L. Parker also called the concert “a historic homecoming for many of our City’s brightest stars.”
“Our Fourth of July concert is a historic homecoming for many of our City’s brightest stars,” Parkers aid. “There is no place to be other than Philly on July 4th!”
