Hold on to your duck boots Philadelphians, more snow is coming!
Looks like we’ll be getting even more snow in Philly this week! Winter isn’t done with us yet according to the National Weather Service which has issued a winter storm watch in the Philly area for Thursday afternoon, February 18.

The upcoming storm is expected to hit the city tomorrow and could bring up to 6 inches of snow to the region along with ice accumulations of up to one-tenth of an inch. The heaviest snow is expected Thursday morning through early Thursday afternoon according to the weather service. Travel could also be very difficult according to the report and hazardous conditions could affect the morning and evening commutes.
The watch is expected to remain in place until early Friday morning with the snowstorm turning into light wintry precipitations.
