1. Circles & Squares, Olde Richmond
Pies at this Olde Richmond spot come in both circles and squares as you can probably tell from the name. The shop specializes in delivering cheesy goodness in the shape of traditional, thin-crust circle pies and the oh-so-popular Detroit-style square pizza.

2. Pizza Brain,Kengsinton
If you’re looking for pizzas with original toppings and equally original names, the Pizza Brain is the place to go. This quirky Kengsinton pizza shop that doubles as the world’s first pizza museum is known for its outlandish yet totally right toppings such as brisket, brown sugar, homemade cheese wiz and more. Plus, they’re also making heart-shaped pies for Valentine’s — totally romantic!

3. Blackbird Pizzeria, Northern Liberties
This place is perfect for those of you looking for a vegan option. This Northern Liberties shop is entirely dedicated to delivering mouthwatering vegan pizzas which include amazing toppings like seitan tofu, and lots of garlic and veggies!

4. Tacconelli’s, Port Richmond
Tacconelli’s in Port Richmond has been feeding hungry Philadelphians since before World War II! A bakery turned pizzeria in 1946, this shop still operates as a small, busy BYOB neighborhood spot and its so popular we highly recommend calling ahead of time! P.S. it’s also cash-only.

5. Lorenzo & Son’s, South Street
Like Tacconelli’s Lorenzo & Son’s is another landmark of the Philly pizza scene. Known for its giant, cheesy slices have been a South Street staple for over 40 years now. So if you’re looking for a classic Philly slice of ‘za this is the place for you!

6.Pizza Shackamaxon, Fishtown
This little Fishtown outpost is perfect for those who enjoy a good thin-crust pizza that can hold its toppings. Sold only by the slice, Shackamaxon’s pizza is great for those who want to enjoy a delicious bit of pizza without having to buy a whole pie!

7. Nomad Pizza, Bella Vista
Looking for the real Neapolitan deal? Then look no further, Nomad Pizza is the place for you. This Bella Vista shop specifies on delivering mouthwatering Neapolitan pies topped with fresh ingredients like prosciutto, arugula shiitake, black truffle and more!

8. Rione, Rittenhouse
Another great spot for authentic Italian Pizza. Rittenhouse Rione specializes on Roman-style pizza, a square-shaped, almost flatbread-like kind of pie. The pies here are sold by the tray or the square and are made in the style of the popular Roman street food.

9. Enjay’s Pizza, West Philadelphia
Brought to you by the people at Pitruco Pizza, this brick-oven pizza spot focuses on delivering wood-fired pies and Italian-American inspired bar food. The folks at Enjay’s make most of their ingredients themselves including their bread, sausages and pasta, giving their pies an extra homemade taste!

10. Pizzeria Beddia, Fishtown
You don’t have to go too far in Philly to enjoy some of the best pizza in the world. Headed by pizza master Joe Beddia, this Fishtown outpost was recently named by Time Magazine as one of the best pizza spots in the world!
