It’s no secret- the square root of anything in Philly is Rittenhouse. This weekend, celebrate the local businesses that make up this beautiful neighborhood at the annual Rittenhouse Row Festival.
Rittenhouse Row Festival Returns
The annual Rittenhouse Row Festival returns this Saturday, May 4th, 2024. This family-friendly, upscale celebration brings together local businesses, vendors, and restaurants for a premier spring event. The festivities will begin around noon until 5 p.m., rain or shine.
The festival has been a staple in the community since Rittenhouse Row was founded in the late 1990s. More than 50,000 people swarm to the area to celebrate.
Arranged as a sophisticated and upscale festival, the event features local businesses selling and promoting their brand alongside national brand activations, live entertainment, fashion and extraordinary food and beverage from top Philadelphia restaurants.
The spirit of the day is accessible luxury -a way for the community, suburbanites and out of town visitors to connect with all the upscale experiences that the businesses of Rittenhouse Row offer.
What To Expect
Indeed, there will be something for everyone. Groove to the sounds of a live DJ as you shop local businesses. Next, enjoy food from some of the city’s top restaurants such as Barclay Prime, Oyster House, Parc, Jet Wine Bar, and plenty more! Moreover, there will be entertainment for all and activities for the kids such as face painting.
The Rittenhouse Square Flower Market’s 100-year tradition of supporting children’s charities has been reimagined as a Rittenhouse Row festival zone for families in support of the Greenfield School. It will serve as a fundraiser for neighborhood public school through flower sales and crafts.
The Rittenhouse Row Festival will take place on Walnut Street from 15th to 19th Streets, 18th Street from Locust to Sansom Street. To accommodate such an exciting event, Walnut St. will be completely closed off to automotive vehicles. Specifically, Walnut Street is closed on each block, 15th, 16th, 17th and 19th Streets are open.
