While the Phillies roster brings the heat, a new report from BetUS reminds us of who really steals the show at Citizens Bank Park: the one and only Phillie Phanatic.
Phillie Phanatic, a sexy mascot
According to a study ranking the 15 most “crush-worthy” MLB mascots, our fuzzy green icon landed the #2 spot, just behind Arizona’s Baxter.
Yes, someone actually crunched the numbers- and the results are hilarious and kind of amazing.
The ranking used a mix of personality traits, job descriptions, social media presence, facial symmetry (seriously), and even search volume to determine which mascots have that undeniable it factor.
The Phanatic, with his ENFP personality type and over-the-top charisma, scored high across the board.
From dance battles with umpires to mid-game stunts that make the crowd erupt, the Phanatic is more than just a mascot -he’s a performer, a provocateur, and apparently, a bit of a heartthrob.
As the report puts it:
While the players get most of the spotlight, it’s the behind-the-scenes MVPs like mascots, managers, umpires, and broadcasters who are quietly stealing hearts. From game-day charisma to facial symmetry worthy of a scouting report, these unsung heroes bring more than just skills to the field. They’ve got the looks, the presence, and the stats to back it up—and honestly, that’s hot.
Whether he’s goofing off on the dugout, chasing opposing coaches with a hot dog launcher, or blowing kisses to the camera, the Phanatic delivers personality in ways no stat sheet can measure.
Indeed, sexy might not be the word you expected to hear in a conversation about MLB mascots, but when it comes to energy, showmanship, and pure Philly flavor, the Phanatic clearly understood the assignment.
