The City of Philadelphia will implement a series of road closures and parking restrictions this Saturday to accommodate a large-scale protest planned for June 14, 2025. The event is one of several taking place nationwide in response to the Trump administration and in contrast to the military parade scheduled in Washington, D.C., celebrating the U.S. Army’s 250th anniversary.
Philadelphia has been named a flagship city for the nationwide demonstration and is expected to draw the largest crowd. Organizers expect participants to begin assembling at Love Park around 10 a.m., with the official rally starting at noon. The march will proceed from Love Park to the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. City officials are advising the public to anticipate heavy traffic and travel delays throughout the area.
Officials strongly encourage motorists to avoid affected areas and use alternative routes or public transit.
