It’s time to start planning your International travel. Beginning next spring, Philadelphians will be able to take a direct flight from Philly to Milan via American Airlines.
American Airlines announces new flights
If traveling to Europe is on your bucket list, you’re in luck. Beginning next spring, the airline will be offering more flights to Europe including a direct flight from Philly to the Milanese capital. “We look forward to offering customers more ways to visit their favorite destinations in Europe next summer,” says Brian Znotins, American’s senior vice president of network and schedule planning in an official press release.
Additionally, American Airlines will resume nonstop flights to Edinburgh (EDI) after the 2019 shutdown . The airlines will also be adding new routes to Athens (ATH), Madrid (MAD), Milan (MXP), and Rome (FCO).
Daily service between Milan and Philadelphia will begin operating on May 23, 2025.
