Simply known as Candlelight, these concerts invite everyone to relive the greatest love ballads ever written, from Piazzola to Sinatra, in an intimate atmosphere.
This February, Candlelight is bringing two enchanting ONE North Broad, the city’s iconic Masonic Temple just across City Hall. With countless flickering candles illuminating each unique space, the Candlelight concerts make for the perfect romantic evening featuring 65 mesmerizing minutes of utterly romantic tunes.
Held at the temple’s Renaissance Hall, Candlelight’s Romantic Jazz Favorites will take you on a journey through the tender side of Jazz with tunes from Duke Ellington to Miles Davis, performed by some of Philly’s finest musicians.
Featuring the works of Vivaldi, Mozart, Piazzola and other classical favorites, Candlelight’s special romantic performance will calm your mind while immersed in the glowing atmosphere of the temple’s Corinthian Hall. You don’t need to know all things classical music to enjoy the evening, simply sit back and savor the stunning pieces you’ll hear!
Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.
The Candlelight Series takes place twice each night with two back to back 60-65 minute performances. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each show.
