Inside the Media Theatre for the Performing Arts

Hosting this luminous production, the Media Theatre offers an unforgettable historic backdrop. Nestled right on State Street in downtown Media, PA, the theatre first opened in 1927 as a vaudeville house boasting a single-screen auditorium. Today, this restored 440-seat venue blends classic English Renaissance charm with fresh programs, ranging from musicals and plays to innovative shows like Ballet of Lights.
Cinderella will be available on select dates over the coming months, starting October 24. Cinderella lives with her mean stepmother and two selfish stepsisters, who treat her like a servant, but her encounter with the Fairy Godmother changes her destiny. It’s an abridged version of the classical ballet with a contemporary twist, suitable for ages five and above.
There are two back-to-back performances scheduled for each date at 4pm and 6pm. The latter performance on Saturday, October 24, has a 20% discount, with tickets starting from $36.00.
