Libertee Grounds, Philly’s newest bar featuring an indoor mini-golf course, is now open for dining, take out and golf!
A teerrific new bar has just opened in Francisville. Libertee Grounds, the newest addition to Philly’s culinary scene, has finally opened its doors for indoor dining and mini-golf! So if you’re a Philly, golf, or craft beer lover this spanking new bar might be your new favorite hangout spot!
Spanning two floors, Libertee Grounds features a bar with 32 rotating tabs of raft beer, cider, seltzer, and wine all locally crafted. At this Philly-themed bar, they’ve chosen to remain hyper-local when it comes to their beer so you can ejoy some of the best IPAs, stouts and porters that brewers on a 40-mile radius around Philly have to offer.
If you’re not a beer fan, the bar also offers a wide selection of craft cocktails featuring local distillers like Boardroom Gin and Three Bitches Vodka that you can also enjoy to-go in served in 8-, 16- or 32-ounce containers.
To honor the owners’ multicultural background, Libertee Grounds food menu offers a spin on Philly classics with a Pan-Asian flare. Their “fun, no-thrills” bar fare features mouthwatering options like their Lamb Kheema Cheesesteak. The bars take on the Philly all-time favorite features a masala-rubbed lamb and ribeye blend, with American cheese, grilled onion, and cilantro lime aioli on a long roll. Meanwhile, their mouthwatering, vegetarian Sloppy Joe features coconut-curried chickpeas, eggplant, spinach, onion and watercress on a brioche bun.
The real showstopper at Libertee Grounds, however, is their indoor putting course. Shaped to look like the word “PHILLY” the indoor mini golf-course features nine original Philly-themed holes. Designed for golfers of all levels, the course pays homage to our city history and some of our most famous landmarks like Boat House Row and the Art Museum.
The bar has finally opened its doors for dining in and patrons can reserve their mini-golf session while booking their table online on their website. Tee time is $10 per person and each table will have 60 to 90 minutes in the dining area before being escorted to play mini-golf. To make sure everything runs smoothly, the restaurant has banned all drinking and eating on the golf course and requires all patrons to wear masks at all times except when seated at their table.
Libertee Grounds is currently open every Wednesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
