Philly is about to take flight. Jordan Brand is officially opening its first U.S. World of Flight flagship retail store in the heart of the city, cementing Philly as a global basketball hub. The highly anticipated storefront will debut October 10 at 1617 Walnut Street in the Historic District, offering a one-of-a-kind shopping and cultural experience.

World of Flight Philadelphia is the sixth flagship of its kind, joining locations in Milan, Tokyo, Seoul, Beijing, and Mexico City.
The new space is designed as Jordan Brand’s pinnacle retail concept.
Specifically, it brings together premium footwear, apparel, storytelling, and cultural programming in a setting that honor’s Philly’s unique basketball DNA.

The store is housed in a historic Beaux Arts building dating back to the early 1900s.
Inside, fans can expect more than retail—Jordan Brand is promising exclusive sneaker drops, curated experiences, co-creation opportunities, and community events. The store will also highlight local athletes, artists, and creators while celebrating Philly’s enduring love of the game.

👟 World of Flight brings legacy and community
Jordan Brand’s connect to Philly runs deep. Michael Jordan played the final game of his NBA career here in 2003.
Co-founder Larry Miller was born and raised in the city, and Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts is one of the brand’s most-high profile athletes.
“I think it is amazing that Jordan Brand chose Philadelphia for its first World of Flight store in the U.S.— it is a city that shown me so much love and deserves the best,” Hurts said.
The grand opening on October 10 kicks off with a Jordan Brand Block Party starting at 4 p.m., complete with surprises for fans.
