The James Beard Foundation®, the organization behind the James Beard Awards®, the most prestigious culinary recognition in the country, is bringing the Taste America culinary series back to Philadelphia with a walk-around tasting on March 25, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. at The Grand Belle at The Bellevue in partnership with Cescaphe.
Guests will enjoy a delicious extravaganza featuring mouthwatering bites and sips from the fabulous TasteTwenty chef, Randy Ruck of Little Water, along with a lineup of local guest chefs ready to wow your taste buds!
The James Beard Foundation’s Taste America® series honors culinary excellence while spotlighting the independent restaurants that are integral to our communities. This initiative unites chefs and food enthusiasts for exceptional dining experiences.

What to expect
Get ready to feast your eyes and taste buds at the ultimate foodie event! This epic gathering is all about celebrating local culinary wizards and their scrumptious creations. Indeed, with The James Beard Foundation curating star-studded lineup, you’re in for a delicious treat!
The fabulous TasteTwenty host chef Randy Rucker, the culinary maestro behind Little Water and River Twice, will be whipping up magic alongside a parade of talented chefs from every corner of the city. Known for his ingredient-hunting prowess and heartfelt connections with diners, Rucker is here to make your taste buds dance.
Important to note, Chef Randy Rucker is part of the 2024-2025 TasteTwenty class—an annual selection of James Beard Foundation “ones to watch,” recognized for exceptional culinary talent and leadership in the industry
