As the excitement of the global soccer tournament sweeps across the country, Rita’s Italian Ice and Sonesta International are giving Philadelphia fans a delicious way to celebrate—with free water-ice inspired by the competing nations.
On Monday, June 22, a Rita’s Treat Truck will roll into Sonesta Philadelphia Rittenhouse Square (1800 Market Street) to hand out 200 complimentary Italian ices while supplies last. The pop-up will take place from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., welcoming both hotel guests and the public.
Rita’s Italian Ice, FIFA, and Sonesta International team up for a sweet celebration
For Philly’s event, the featured matchup is France vs. Iraq. If you’re stopping by this sweet pop-up, expect custom water-ice flavors inspired by each team’s colors:

The collaboration is part of a multi-city celebration taking place during the FIFA World Cup, with additional stops already scheduled in Miami on June 24 and Jersey City on June 25.
Organizers say more dates and locations are expected to be announced, giving fans even more chances to cool off while cheering on their favorite teams throughout the tournament.
