Businessman and philanthropist William L. Elkins built this Gilded Age masterpiece in 1898. It’s nestled within 42 acres of rolling gardens just minutes from Philadelphia in Elkins Park.
Indeed, the estate stands as one of the nation’s most breathtaking of Beaux-Arts architecture, showcasing the lavish artistry and craftsmanship of the era.
🥂 Champagne, charcuteries & a walk through history

On Thursday, November 20, beginning at 5:00 p.m., guests will be welcomed with a glass of of champagne and light charcuterie before embarking on a guided 45-minute tour through the mansion’s marble halls, frescoed ceilings, and glittering chandeliers. Each room tells a story of wealth, vision, and Philadelphia’s Gilded Age legacy.
After the guided portion, guests can continue to explore the mansion at their leisure while enjoying more bites and bubbly. The evening concludes at 6:30 p.m., offering a perfect blend of history, luxury, and relaxation.
