
From Torino to King of Prussia—Eataly, a global Italian marketplace, is opening a massive new location and bringing the best of Italy to PA this fall.

Indeed, this is exciting news for Philadelphia and the surrounding region.
Eataly, the internationally recognized Italian food and retail experience, will open its first-ever Pennsylvania location in Fall 2025 -right inside of the King of Prussia Mall.
The new space will be massive -23,000 square feet, reportedly.
Its set to take over the former Rite Aid and Rue 21 stores and span two levels dedicated to Italian food, wine, and culture.
Known for its mix of restaurants, counters, and market-style shopping, Eataly offers everything from house-made pasta and fresh cheeses to curated wines and ingredients imported from Italy.
Additionally, the space will include sit-down dining and take-away options, staying true to its roots as a place where people can father, eat, and explore the flavors of Italian cuisine.
The news was first shared in Dec 2024 -King of Prussia Mall confirmed the news via Facebook.
Although there’s no official grand opening date yet, the Eataly is expected to open Fall 2025.
A destination of its own

Eataly started in Torino, Italy in 2007, built on a vision founder Oscar Farinetti had five years earlier.
He dreamed of creating a space where high-quality food was accessible, educational, and rooted in community.
Since then, Eataly has become a destination of its own with over 50 locations globally.
In fact, you can find U.S. markets in major cities like New York, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.
King of Prussia will be its 13th North American location, and it’s very first in the state.
