The city’s only off-leash dog park, beer garden, and dog-friendly dining patio are here just in time for the dog days of summer.
Philly’s iconic Craft Hall has made special renovations to their outdoor dining space and created a unique dog park experience you can’t get anywhere else in the city. Unleashed Bark and Beer is the new dog park in town! Serving up themed cocktails, special drinks, dog cocktails, and doggie treats from Lost Bread Co, there is so much to be enjoyed at this beer garden! Human dog-themed cocktails include Peach BARKarita, American Mutt, and Virgin Colada and Cucumber Fresca.
Have a cocktail with your dog and order a “Dogua Fresca” which are 8oz mixtures to add to the dog’s water bowl. All the drinks for dogs are made with fresh fruits and vegetables that are blended until smooth with coconut water. The staff pays extra attention to remove all seeds and rinds for an ultimately dog-safe and friendly drink. The flavors include blueberry, pineapple, watermelon, and a veggie smoothie made with carrots, green beans, spinach, and cucumber.
With over 2,000 square feet of fenced-in secured park space, dogs will be well protected while they run around and meet new friends. The Puppy Porch is the exclusive dog-friendly dining area where your pupper can dine with you by your side.
Owner Avram Hornik expressed his original idea for his dog park mingled restaurant; “During the pandemic, everyone was stuck at home. People everywhere spent more time with their pets than they got to spend with most humans. Now, more than ever, these pets have become like a member of the family. We opened Craft Hall to be a place for parents and children of all ages. Adding our four-legged family members at this point just seems like the right thing to do.” Indeed, a wholesome idea that has never been done before!
Other features included at this dog park are freshwater, dog bowls, disposable bags, and other details that could be needed by dog owners. Unleashed Bark and Beer is open Fridays from 4:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
