If you’ve ever wanted to dine with a celebrity Chef, now here’s your chance! Iron Chef, father, husband, James Beard Award-winner, entrepreneur, and food innovator, Chef Jose Garces is known as a leading culinary authority of Spanish and Latin-American food. This Sunday, you can dine and celebrate with Garces as he hosts a special one year anniversary celebration for Amada Radnor.
About Amada
Indeed, Amada is a must-visit! It features the beloved Spanish tapas concept that won Garces the Best Chef Mid-Atlantic James Beard Award in 2009. Named after his grandmother who ignited Garces’ love for the kitchen, Amada was one of the Chef’s first restaurants.
Today, Amada operates three locations, in Radnor, in Old City and Historic Philadelphia. There’s also a location in Atlantic City at Ocean Casino Resort.
This flavorful restaurant is both locally and nationally recognized. In fact, it is considered by media and critics as one of Philadelphia’s essential restaurants that helps define Philadelphia’s red hot culinary scene. Amada Radnor features a stunning 7,000 square foot, 250+ seat dual level restaurant, bar, lounge, private event space, outdoor courtyard and outdoor patio.

Sunday, April 7th, 2024 from 11:30am to 2:00pm, come celebrate at Amada Radnor. Additionally, Chef will also celebrate his expansion to the Main Line.
Guests can enjoy a festive brunch party featuring live music, flamenco dancing, welcome glasses of Cava, small bites, tours of the private dining room, and a family style brunch – all for only $40 a ticket.
Of course, Chef will be on hand to meet attendees and thank patrons, neighbors, and visitors for their support over the past year.

Next, for Gin Tonic enthusiasts, Amada proudly offers a Gin Tonic Tableside Experience. The Gin Tonic cart arrives tableside, and features four composed Gin Tonics on the menu, those would come from the bar proper. They are served with Fever Tree Tonic. Specifically, the cart has all of the garnishes and infused gins available and there is a “show” that coincides with it.
Guests are invited to pick their own gin and garnishes, as they like, with the server creating it for them table-side.
The four offerings include:
- La Hermosa “Lemon Infused Gin, Fresh Strawberry & Mint”
- El Misterioso “Grapefruit Infused Gin, Basil & Smoked Cinnamon Bitters”
- La Picara “Lime Infused Gin, Cucumber & Rosemary”
- El Vagabundo “Orange Infused Gin, Blackberry & Aztec Chocolate Bitters, finished with Ginger Beer
