Coming in September 2021, this concert series known simply as “Candlelight” invites everyone to relive the greatest works of classical music, in an intimate atmosphere.

With countless flickering candles illuminating each unique space, the Philadelphia Candlelight concerts will present a collection of classical music over the course of 65 mesmerizing minutes.

Soul fans will also be able to enjoy enchanting nights full of romantic classics featuring tunes from Aretha Franklin, Nina Simone, and the Divas of Soul highlighting the tender side of Soul.

On September 7 and 8, 2021 solo pianist Serene will be performing waltzes and rhapsodies in glowing candlelight. Her talent, passion, and charm will amaze you as you enjoy her enchanting spectacle.

With the loosening of Covid restrictions, these majestic concerts are able to be performed inside architecturally significant buildings. Indeed, these breathtaking concerts will take place at the Renaissance and Corinthian Halls at Philadelphia’s iconic ONE North Broad. Located just across City Hall, this 19th century Masonic Temple is a stunning architectural wonder known worldwide for its exquisite rooms based on themes of ancient architecture and sweeping grand staircases.

Note: For the safety of our audience, all of the candlelight will be provided through flameless candles.

The Candlelight series takes place twice each night with two back to back 60-65 minute performances. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to each show.
