Although the Candlelight series has taken on many musical genres over the past few years, this season the popular concert series is including new tributes to the mix. From upbeat songs by Puerto Rican reggaetón sensation Bad Bunny to the powerful anthems of the legendary pop rock band U2 in the open air, there’s something for everyone. And to help you get in the holiday spirit, a cheery concert awaits you this December, where you can listen to classic holiday songs by iconic soul artists in the likes of Nat King Cole and Otis Redding.
Hans Zimmer has created some of the most iconic film scores ever. He’s won multiple awards, including an Academy Award for Best Original Score for The Lion King. You can hear some of his most famous tracks at a Candlelight concert soon, including songs from The Dark Knight, Wonder Woman, and Pirates of the Caribbean performed by the Listeso String Quartet at the Independence Seaport Museum and it promises to be an unforgettable experience.
The spooky season just got a whole lot spookier thanks to these utterly bewitching Candlelight concerts in Philadelphia. Prepare to fall under a musical spell as the spellbinding scores from iconic horror movies including Ghostbusters, Halloween, Beetlejuice and more sound through Laurel Hill Cemetery and BOK Building.
