There are plenty of ways to honor Black History Month. One of the easiest ways is to order from a Black-owned restaurant in the city, and in a city like Philly —  rich in Black culture, heritage and history — you know you’re bound to find some of the best food in town.

From vegan options to Southern delicacies and coffee we’ve got you covered. Check these out!

1. Atiya Ola’s Spirit First Food, Garden Court

Treat your body and your spirit right at Atiya Ola’s. This wonderful vegan spot focuses on delivering high-quality plant-based products that will nourish your body and mind like healthy veggie stir-fries, salads, wraps and more. And if you’re craving a bit of protein and you’re not entirely plant-based, make sure to try one of their excellent salmon dishes!

This Old City spot uses only local, organic and non-GMO products to create refreshing, fresh-pressed juices and delectable fruit bowls.
