Indeed, it’s time to celebrate all of the beautiful things. Saturday October 26th, 2024, rising-star Benson Boone will perform a free concert right here in Philadelphia. In partnership with The Philadelphia 76ers, the concert will be apart of “Philaland” at the Mann Center.
Who is Benson Boone?
Benson Boone is a rising pop-rock sensation who hails from Monroe, Washington. The 22-year-old musician rose to fame from a Tik Tok influencer to one of Gen Z’s most promising stars. The once season 19 American-Idol contestant (who later dropped out), didn’t discover his talent until high school. Remarkably, it was by accident. During the time, his best friend asked Boone to play the piano in a high school battle of the bands competition. At the last second, the singer dropped out and Boone made a last minute decision to fill in. This impromptu decision would lead Boone down a path of destiny.
Recalling his accidental realization of his talent, Boone told MTV, “it just like I unlocked something I didn’t know I had and I stopped, like halfway through the first verse and looked around, and I was so shocked that I had just sang…it was like, the best feeling of my life.”
Presently, Boone’s latest single “Beautiful Things“, released in January, has exploded the music scene. The soulful pray of a love song, has spent consecutive weeks in the Top 10 Billboard 100.
And now his is bringing his electrifying vocals to Philly.
Specifically, fans of the singer can enjoy a free concert this weekend in Philly for “Philaland”.

Philaland is a free event for Philadelphians in partnership with The Philadelphia 76ers. This free event is centered around the importance of early voting in Pennsylvania.
